Brian Lucas, the leader of Bird Development Group, is a seasoned real estate executive with over 20 years of experience in the industry. His firm caters to a diverse clientele, including high net worth investors, family offices, landowners, and distressed commercial property holders.

Before founding Bird Development Group in 2016, Brian held several key positions in the real estate sector. He served as the Vice President of Development at Wieland Construction, where he was responsible for all aspects of Real Estate Development and Construction advisory services for high net worth individuals, Family Offices, Institutional capital, and understaffed real estate investment firms. Within the capital markets sector, Brian served as Vice President of National Sales at Bluerock Capital Markets, West Coast Vice President at KBR Capital Markets and Northwest Director at Steadfast Capital Markets Group.  in 2005, Brian co-founded PrimeUrban, an urban infill development company, where he was responsible for the vision, capital raise, product development for the startup company.

His educational background includes study in architecture and construction management at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, economics at Southern Methodist University and leadership development at Vanguard University.

His recent accomplishments include leading a successful turnaround strategy for a $100 million luxury mixed-use development, crafting a comprehensive recovery plan for a distressed $250 million EB5 real estate portfolio, and serving as Project Executive, guiding the ownership group and design team to secure the preferred offeror position for the $3 billion New Aloha Stadium and Entertainment District in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Beyond his professional commitments, Brian is actively involved in various nonprofit organizations. He was the Founder and President of the Board of South Cardinal Football and Cheer, and currently serves as a board member on the Corona del Mar High School Touchdown Club and Elder at Large at Grace Fellowship Church.
